Hollywood B&B is an eclectic place located in a 1912 building. Its owners, Nina and William, filled the place with hand-made artefacts and murals. The house has 5 rooms, each of them decorated differently. We interviewed William about the homestay and the stories that William, Nina and their B&B went through.
Majority of the planet seems to live such busy lives these days. Especially in the big cities things tend to be 24/7, instant, while-you-wait. Although digital photography is so popular with the majority of people, especially the ones who travel, Hillvale, in Melbourne, goes against that grain.
'The young Cambodian lad noticed us and frantically looked for the exit from the inside of his tuk tuk. He found it at the back of the trailer and squished himself between two tightly parked bikes. Now he was running towards us waving his arms and screaming: 'MY FRIENDS! YOU CAME BACK! HELLO MY FRIENDS!' (...)'
'The sun shone nicely on our backs. It wasn't too hot yet - it was merely after 8am. We cycled through the streets of Hoi An, heading to the outskirts. Soon our eyes would see seldom farmers working in the fields, vast spaces of crops, muddy rice fields and roads where the rice was drying spread out like a red carpet for us to ride through.
